Now I want to talk about college system in Hawaii and japan. When I was Japan, I was attending the japan college and now I am attending the University in Hawaii. I experienced the so many differences. This is just from my experience and how I felt, so I am not saying all Japanese students but I am assuming a lot of Japanese who had attended Hawaii and Japan College is same way I feeling right now. To enter to the college, in Japan is very difficult and easy to graduate but in Hawaii, it is easy to enter but it’s very difficult to graduate. In Japan, once you enter the college, lecture is very easy, they don’t take attendance, so, many of student skip the class, sneak out during the lecture. As long as you have class note, you can pass the exam and pass the classes. Many people include me did that we make group and we choose one person who go to the lecture and make class note and share to everybody. I was very bad student. But surprisingly I pass all classes. But after all, I didn’t learn anything. But in here Hawaii is very different; you must study in order to pass the exam and classes. I think Hawaii students study so hard compare with japan students. And all professors are very nice and think about all each of students. For my math and economy class, they make sure I understand each question and problem, in accounting class, I taking ITV class from Oahu, each lecture professor asks me if I am okay and make sure I am not behind, and English class, professor make sure if I write English collect in essay and try to help me a lot. It is very hard but I am sure this difficulty makes all students actually learn anything and when we got the actual job, we can use what we learned.
